ACEOs are Art Card Editions & Originals. ATCs are Art Trading Cards and are often known as ACEOs.  By definition, they should measure

2.5 x 3.5 inches in size and are purchased, traded and collected

by hundreds of thousands of avid art fans, the World over.

Now archival art is suddenly affordable and these ACEO prints make the perfect gift for anybody with very little display space.

ACEOs are considered Art Miniatures and as such, are a great art investment

for those who appreciate fine art in this amazing format.

"PLACE OF PRAYERS"

He came to pray, at the gathering place of the Inuit and the Haida. On the night of the Full Moon he prayed for his clan. He asked for the people of the southern world to awaken from their uncaring slumber.  That they might rouse to awareness and finally see with open eyes, that all is beauty, that all life is precious and the Earth is in need of rescue.  As he uttered his heartfelt words, his prayer was heard. The sky came alive with colour and electric bursts of brilliance. The Aurora Borealis danced in the Midnight sky as acknowledgement that his prayer had reached the heart of The Great Mystery.  Lights pirouetted across the illuminated stage of Space for many hours after his prayer was offered and so the lone Polar Bear departed for cooler places, his task complete.  Today, each time the Aurora electrifies the northern skies, it is a reminder to us all to take care of our Mother Earth and to nurture her back to health.

"IN SEARCH OF ICE"

(Polar Bear)

An adult male Polar Bear swims the waters of an Alaskan inlet in search of an Ice Floe to rest upon. 

Due to Global Warming, these precious creatures are dying in large numbers from starvation and drownings at sea. This is mainly due to the loss of ice packs for them to hunt on and to use as respite from swimming, when in search of food off the coastlines of Alaska and Canada.

Ice melt is also a serious threat to most other ocean mammals like Seals right across the Northern hemisphere. 

This poignant image was created as a Giclee Print  from a mixed media painting by Skye Ryan-Evans.

The artwork was created in protest of the inaction of Governments worldwide against the massive threat of Global Warming!

"TRUSTING SPIRIT"

(A white Black Bear also known as a "Spirit Bear" or "Kermode Bear")

One of the artist's personal favourites, this painted image conveys the trusting nature

of one of Nature's wildlest and most rare of creatures.

White Black Bears are a very rare occurrence in nature and are not related to their northern cousin, the beautiful Polar Bear.  They are considered sacred to First Nations bands in the region.  These protected Spirit Bears are the designated mascot for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. 

They can be found in very isolated areas of British Columbia in Canada and nowhere else in the World.
